The Vibe: A massive 13.5 percent Chocolate Black Barleywine aged for a full year in bourbon barrels.
From the streets of New York to the shores of California, these collaborations bring major prestige to the festival floor.
ScienceWerks (WeldWerks Brewing Company and Equilibrium Brewery, NY)
The Vibe: A Hazy Double IPA bursting with tropical candy notes.
The Story: We brought back this popular beer with one of our favorite Hazy IPA breweries in the country, Equilibrium, specifically for Collab Fest. ScienceWerks features notes of peach rings, mango nectar, and lime zest on top of homemade whipped cream. Whether you are feeling like Jekyll, Hyde, or Einstein today, this brew has you covered.
Spirit of the Fu! (Westbound and Down Brewing and North Park Beer Company, CA)
The Vibe: An award winning New Zealand IPA mashup.
The Story: Both breweries have won multiple awards in the NZ IPA category over the years. After congratulating each other for award wins year after year, we decided to create Spirit of the Fu!, our mash up of our award winning NZ IPAs, Spirit of the West and NZ Fu!
Geographically Misleading (New Image Brewing Company and Cellarmaker Brewing, CA)
The Vibe: A Bay Area Style IPA focused on stone fruit and cannabis forward hops.
The Story: We do a lot of things similarly already, but Cellarmaker has a couple tricks we are excited to play with. They keep things cold and slow with the goal of retaining the maximum amount of hop flavor and aroma while adding minimal yeast derived flavor.
Morally Dankrupt (Cannonball Creek and ISM Beer, CA)
The Vibe: A massively aromatic and highly drinkable West Coast IPA.
The Story: A collaboration built on mutual respect between two elite West Coast IPA breweries. Reflecting the similar style of both breweries, this IPA is massively aromatic and highly drinkable.
Confident Misinformation (Primitive Beer and Voodoo Brewing, PA)
The Vibe: A 4 year blend Lambic inspired spontaneous beer.
The Story: Our friends at Voodoo Brewing in Pennsylvania have welcomed us to their festival for years. This inevitable friendship collaboration is a carefully selected 4 year blend that was finished in both ruby port barrels and Family Jones rye whiskey barrels. It was inspired by the New York Sour cocktail that both parties enjoy.
Elite producers from Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri bring bold flavors to the Rockies.
West Coast Cartel (Liquid Mechanics and Pinthouse, TX)
The Vibe: A running collaboration series featuring the best West Coast IPA producers.
The Story: Highlighting some of the best West Coast IPA producers in the country, this rendition was a collab with Pinthouse out of Austin, Texas, featuring select Citra, Mosaic, and Rakau.
Altered Perception (Cerebral Brewing and American Solera, OK)
The Vibe: A dank West Coast IPA with incredible hop terpenes.
The Story: Altered Perception is our annual 4/20 beer! This year we partnered with our friends at American Solera and chose to lean into some of our favorite hops while incorporating incredible new terpenes like Gelato and Pineapple Express to make this one of our dankest West Coast IPAs to date.
Whispering Sin DIPA (Knotted Root Brewing and Narrow Gauge, MO)
The Vibe: A juicy, unfiltered New England Double IPA.
The Story: Knotted Root flew to St. Louis in the spring of 2020 to make this beer at the original Narrow Gauge location. Now, 6 years later, we are bringing it back. It is a juicy unfiltered DIPA that combines our unique brewing characteristics.
Collaborations that connect our homes with old friends in Wyoming, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Golden Boot (Storm Peak, Hideaway Park, Ska, Elevation, Stillwest, WY, Mother Earth, CA, Citizen 33, ID, Roadhouse, WY, and Melvin, WY)
The Vibe: A high stakes West Coast IPA competition between ski town breweries.
The Story: A rigorous competition between ski town breweries in a quest for the golden boot. This massive multi state collaboration brings the best of the mountains into one single glass.
Chill Fusion (Westminster and Roadhouse Brewing, WY)
The Vibe: A West Coast Pale featuring Mosaic Cryo Fresh hops.
The Story: New friends making some new beer. Out of State collab with Roadhouse Brewing up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We took a road trip up to Jackson to brew at their brewpub in the middle of Jackson Town Square to create this truly unique beer.
Dreamin on the Plains (Windfall and Melvin Brewing, WY)
The Vibe: A smooth Cream Ale featuring blue corn.
The Story: Prairie Malt got us together as he was excited for Windfall and Melvin to work together. We decided on a cream ale because Root Shoot Malting recently came out with some malted blue corn that we both wanted to try.
Western Export (Glenwood Canyon and Black Tooth, WY)
The Vibe: A Pre Prohibition Lager honoring Western brewing traditions.
The Story: Brewed in collaboration with Black Tooth out of Wyoming, this lager honors the brewing traditions that helped shape the American West. Colorado ingredients lead the way with Root Shoot malted barley and corn and Billy Goat Crystal hops.
Paleček (Cohesion and Good Word, GA)
The Vibe: A dry hopped Czech Pale Lager.
The Story: We blended our love of German and Czech lagers by using some ingredients from both countries. This beer is dry hopped lightly for a bright and refreshing finish with our friends from Good Word in Georgia.
OBX 14er (Mountain Toad Brewing and Tobacco Road, NC)
The Vibe: A highly sessionable Belgian Table Beer with peaches and pecans.
The Story: One of Mountain Toad’s brewers moved to North Carolina a few years ago and now brews at Tobacco Road. We combine peaches, to symbolize Colorado, and pecans, to symbolize North Carolina, to connect our new homes with the old.
Joey from Blossom (Something Brewery and Square State, WY)
The Vibe: A Jasmine Rice Lager with cherry blossom and honey.
The Story: We both have wanted to do a rice lager for so long. We tried to use a delicacy of cherry blossom and honey to go along with the elegance of lager to make a clean, crisp, and refreshing beer.
