2026 Collaboration Fest Welcome beer is brewered by Westbound & Down, Cannonball Creek and River North Brewery.

A Trifecta of Champions

The 2025 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) was a historic year for Colorado. Three of our local powerhouses: Cannonball Creek, River North, and Westbound & Down didn’t just win medals; they all swept the “Brewery of the Year” awards in their respective categories.

In the spirit of the “State of Craft Beer,” these three legends put their heads together to brew a collaboration that lives up to the hardware they brought home.

This is a massive win for the Colorado beer scene. Having three “Brewery of the Year” winners from the same state is already a flex, but getting them to team up on a single West Coast IPA is a genuine “run, don’t walk” situation.

The Specs: Rocky Mountain Advantage

This isn’t your standard IPA. It’s an engineered West Coast IPA that balances old-school bitterness with new-school hop technology.

  • Style: West Coast IPA
  • ABV: 6.8%
  • The Hop Profile: This beer is a showcase of innovation, featuring Simcoe Hyperboost, Simcoe T90, Mosaic T90, Mosaic Cryo, and the experimental powerhouse Krush Cryo.
  • The Partners: Brewed with world-class support from Yakima Chief Hops, BSG, and Berkeley Yeast.

Expect a bright, crisp, and intensely aromatic experience. Thanks to the Hyperboost and Cryo tech, you’re going to get those massive resinous and citrus notes without the heavy vegetal bite, just pure, clean hop bliss.

Drinking for a Cause

While we’re celebrating the “Rocky Mountain Advantage,” we’re also making sure the future of Colorado beer remains bright. A portion of the net proceeds from this beer will be donated directly to the Colorado Brewers Guild.

The Guild is the nonprofit backbone of our industry, working tirelessly to promote, protect, and propel independent craft breweries through advocacy and education. When you raise a glass of Rocky Mountain Advantage, you’re directly supporting the community that makes festivals like this possible.
