Strange Craft Beer Company and Bent Barley Brewing Company

Beer name: Scary Cherry

Odd13 Brewing and Streetside Brewery (OH)

Beer name: Surfer Boy Kolsch

Beer style: West Coast Kolsch

Story behind the collaboration: Streetside is a favorite around Odd13, particularly when the creative minds behind the brands/labels started working together, striking gold with Stranger Things themes.  For this year’s collab, the beer the brewers kept coming back to was a West Coast Kolsch with Surfer Boy Pizza vibes and a splash of New Zealand hops to complement the two traditional European varietals

Old 121 Brewhouse and Lady Justice Brewing

Beer name: Smooth Crimini-Ale

Beer style: Mushroom West Coast Pilsner

Story behind the collaboration: Annie are you ok? This Smooth Crimini-Ale brings the delicious style of a West Coast Pilsner using Amarillo and Lupomax Columbus hops with the rich and complex use of Crimini and Porcini Mushrooms. The brewers wanted to try some experimental flavors that would be both unique and balanced that would highlight traditional dank, piney, and citrus flavors of hops with the earthy, umami, and slightly spicy flavors of mushrooms

Public Offering Brewing Co. and LUKI Brewery

Beer name: Rising Sun Yuzu Lager

Beer style: Rice Lager

Story behind the collaboration: Inspired to make a light lager for the summer season, the brewers landed on a rice lager and wanted to lean into some typical Japanese flavors and ingredients without going overboard. So they added ginger and lemongrass hot side, fermented with a Sake lager strain and added Yuzu fruit for a touch of citrus. They tried their best to preserve the delicate nature of a rice lager while lightly highlighting the ginger, lemongrass and yuzu flavors

Ramblebine Brewing Company and Base Camp Beer Works

Beer name: Tinky Wink

Beer style: Ube Milkshake IPA

Story behind the collaboration: A unique take on a milkshake hazy IPA with the use of Ube to impart a vibrant purple color along with nutty, vanilla sweetness. As good friends and close colleagues, the brewers love to collaborate and learn from each other to make the Grand Valley beer scene better as a whole

Ramblebine Brewing Company and New Terrain Brewing Company

Verboten Brewing and Gravity Brewing

Beer name: Peanut Butter Sriracha Imperial Porter

Beer style: Imperial Porter

Story behind the collaboration: Brewery friends that came together and said “lets make something weird but not too weird,” thus the idea was born to make a peanut sriracha porter

Wild Blue Yonder Brewing Co., 105 West Brewing Company, Rock Yard Brewing Company, and Los Dos Potrillos

Beer name: Welcome to the Rock

Beer style: Golden Stout

Story behind the collaboration: The Castle Rock brewers went with a golden stout because it attempts to give you the flavors you’d expect in a traditional stout or porter, but without the use of darker roasted malts. It’s a total mind game when you drink one

Woods Boss Brewing Company and Silver Moon Brewing (OR)

Beer name: Stihl Crazy (after all these years)

Beer style: Norwegian Farmhouse brewed with a Ponderosa Pine Tree

Story behind the collaboration: This collab is a revisit from 2019 when Woods Boss cut down a live pine tree and used it in the brewing process. The brewers ran hot wort from the kettle down a channel of a 12′ section of the trunk during the boil to pull in the character of the tree. It will be a citrusy Norwegian Farmhouse/Saison as they are blending a Kveik strain with French Saison Yeast.
